Shop For Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (Disc Version)

My two sons are K-12 school students and needed the basic productivity tools to be competitive, this is NOT it. The pricing for this software is ridiculous, especially seeing that Microsoft has only changed 10% of the functionality since the Office 2003 version, and increased intrusive spamming and tracking of your user activity for their marketing, that you can't turn off. The next choice for parents would be to buy the "Academic Version" for half the price to find out "academic student" per Microsoft is attending only a select list of Universities, and not K-12. Which meant we could not get activation keys, nor return the opened software.
Sad and repulsive in our economic state today for U.S. families: between A) Microsoft charging as much as a new PC for 10+ year old software with only a prettier skin. B) Microsoft shipping jobs overseas to un-employ U.S. techies who got them where they are today.
The final choice we recommend as an American Family, in American schools, with students trying to stay ahead technically is to download OpenOffice for free and get all this functionality and more and still read/write the Office files you have.Get more detail about Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (Disc Version).
