I bought this cushion to get my husband to stop taking my smaller (blue) one. He plays classical guitar and would get a backache if he played for more than 20 minutes at a time. This cushion puts his body in the correct position so he can play longer. It is wider than the regular one, so it looks more like a cushion than a chair pad, or, worse yet, one of those round donut shaped pillows that look like a kid's potty training seat.
