I ordered these boots for a trip I will be taking out west this summer. I have been wearing them around to break them in...however, from the first time I wore them they were very comfortable and didn't really need any breaking in at all. The "high top" felt a tiny bit stiff but wore great after a few minutes of wearing them. My opinion is they are definitely true to size as I ordered my normal size 10 and they fit just right. I was unsure of the color description as they are listed as Taupe/Grey but, in my opinion, they look more of a dark khaki color and I actually liked the color better in person than in the picture.
