When I received this hiking boots and tried it own, it didn't fit well. I notice my foot turning when I am walking. I have long lean feet, not quite narrow and despite using a very thick hiking socks, it still didn't help. I end up buying another one (merrell) which worked really well.
I was going to return this shoes, but it looks really good so I gave it to my brother who has the same shoe size as me. It worked really well with him and fit his feet much better. We had a really bad blizzard in past winter with several feet of snow and he used this boots while digging us out and it kept his feet dry.
