I was nervous about buying boots online, but with so many good reviews I decided to go for it. I received them in the mail today & these are beautiful boots! The design is actual fabric coated with a clear plastic which makes them very sleek-looking & fitting more like a normal women's boot. I couldn't be more pleased with the look, actually (I got the hearts style in brown). They fit snug. I am tall, usually wear a 9.5 to a 10 in women's shoes. I'd say I'm closer to a true 10 so I got these in a 10. They just fit without socks, actually a little snug in the middle of the foot & the calves but wearable. I would consider going up a size when you order, especially if you like to wear medium to thick socks or have wide feet/larger calves. I think I'll keep the 10 and see how they work with wear.
