I went and demo'ed the V2065 vs the V1065 at my local Fry's. Basically the sound quality was similar but the extra features are what drove me to the V2065. The YPAO feature is huge timesaver in terms of setup. Tons of other cool features. The only con I have found so far is that most universal remotes do not work with the unit as all the standard Yamaha codes dont work.
