I bought these after the big snow in Md. I wanted something taller than then the boots I had and waterproof. I like them and I think over time they will stay in style better than a pair of wellies and will be warmer. They are a bit snug at the top. I have large calves but they fit. I was a bit worried. The top circumference of the book is larger than the spec states but not alot larger so if you have very large calves this would be a problem. Otherwise I love them.
